La nouvelle révélation froide s’appelle My sister Klaus, qui semble passionné par la coldwave qui ne font pas au soleil.. Sorte d’âme sœur teutonne vivant à Paris mais connecté sur la Germanie. My sister Klaus sort un album chez Tigersushi, c’est comme si un frigidaire avait été laissé ouvert trop longtemps et avait congelé l’ensemble de la planète à -2° degré Celsius.

My sister Klaus, donc, est le projet torturé de Guillaume Teyssier, parisien d’adoption semble-t-il, tant ses orientations musicales semblent ailleurs, en dépit du nom de l’album; Château Rouge. Nourri au malaise et au vertige, les compositions de Klaus toisent l’auditeur de haut, l’invitant à la rejoindre dans les cimes cosmiques qui verraient Syd Barrett jouer au touche-pipi avec Taxi Girl et le Velvet.

Il faut entendre Kicks of sand pour ses amours dépassionnés, coup d’œil dans le rétro minimaliste des 80’, car Klaus pisse des kilomètres de pathos à la seconde, freezant l’auditeur par son chant martial. Martien. La bonne surprise glaciale de ce printemps caniculaire. A écouter en allant voter pour une connasse au sourire mécanique, un centriste décentré ou un dictateur court sur patte…
